About Maria Malone
Maria Malone received her certification as a Breastfeeding Educator from Aviva College of Midwifery and Maternal Child Health in 2008 and received her certification as a Childbirth Educator from Cascade Christian Childbirth Association in 2011.  As of April 2013, she is in the Lamaze International certification process.  She provides expectant parents with the information they will need to have a beautiful, well-informed birth by teaching Christian as well as standard, non-faith based childbirth preparation classes.

All classes take place at Sovereign Grace Community Church in Brooklyn, NY.

Maria is also a pastor's wife and has been married to her husband Rich for 17 years.  They have 3 children ages 15, 12 and 6.  She experienced various side-effects from the many interventions she received during the births of her first two children in 1997 and 2001 and now has a wealth of experience to share with expectant parents. She became passionate about natural birth and breastfeeding after the birth of her youngest daughter in 2006.  This was her first unmedicated, natural birth and the first time she breastfed for over a year.  Both experiences had a tremendous, life-altering impact on her life, which she freely discusses during her classes.  Maria's classes will not attempt to persuade you that a natural birth and breastfeeding is the only way to go, but she will provide you with all the evidence-based information you will need to make a well-informed decision that is right for your family.
